BCN Peel #01 CE is a chemoexfoliant to treat acne and to reduce the superficial scars it causes on the skin.

Specific benefits:

BCN Peel #01 CE is indicated for the treatment of active acne or acne resolution. It can also be applied to comedones, blackheads, dirty pores, etc.

It is used with great effectiveness on oily skin and seborrhea. Its components prevent bacterial spread and have an antimicrobial action

Treatments:

15% Salicylic Acid | 15% Mandelic Acid | 1,5 – 2,5 pH

BCN Peel #01 CE combines an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), mandelic acid, with a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and salicylic acid.

Salicylic acid has an important comedolytic, keratolytic (accelerates the elimination of corneocytes), astringent and antimicrobial effect. In high concentration it produces a “frost” or white epidermyolysis on comedones and acneiform boils that allows the acid to penetrate from the follicular epithelium to the sebaceous gland.

Mandelic acid has a larger molecular structure than other AHAs, so it penetrates the stratum corneum more slowly and requires a longer exposure time. For this same reason it does not cause irritation or itching on the skin. It increases the synthesis of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans in the papillary dermis.
